Mission Statement

Waltham Youth Lacrosse is committed to promoting the game of lacrosse to boys and girls from 1st grade through 8th grade.  Our Coaches enhance fundamental skills, teach strategies, and emphasize teamwork and stellar sportsmanship among players while teaching parents the importance of being positive and supportive spectators.  We afford educational opportunities for new coaches and referees to strengthen and grow the program.  We strive to provide each player with a positive experience and skill set that will last a lifetime.

Spring Classic 2025 Registration is open now through January 15th.. Don't miss out on a spot for your player this season!

Registration is open for Grades 1 through 8th

Gear required by gender is below:

  • Boys - Helmet, chest pad, gloves, elbow pads, mouth guard, Stick, cleats are preferred, but not mandatory
  • Girls - Goggles, Stick, mouth guard, cleats are preferred, but not mandatory

***Stay tuned for Pre K through K programming by Scoops Lacrosse - Registration will Open in Early 2025 (program dates:  May 2nd, May 8th, May 16th, May 30th, June 6th, and June 13th)

For Registered Players - Winter Skills Sessions starting Friday, January 10th

  • Session Dates: 1/10**, 1/17**, 2/7, 2/14, 2/21, 2/28, 3/7
  • Time: 6:00 - 8:00 pm
    • 6:00 - 7:00 pm Grades 1st through 4th
    • 7:00 - 8:00 pm Grades 5th through 8th
  • Location: Kennedy Middle School
  • Players should bring full equipment for skills sessions
    • Boys - Helmet, chest pad, gloves, elbow pads, mouth guard, Stick (no cleats in gym)
    • Girls - Goggles, Stick, mouth guard

Sign up for our Winter Clinics - HERE (this is just to gauge a headcount, this is not mandatory and you are still able to attend if you do not register ahead of time)

Used Equipment will be collected at Winter Skills - if you have equipment that no longer fits your player we are looking to build an equipment swap program.  We will be taking donations of gently used equipment at any of our Winter Skills clinics.  Thank you for your donations!

  • Jamboree Registration Opens:  Sunday, April 27 at 8:00pm

  • Jamboree Registration Closes:  Wednesday, May 7 at 10:00pm

  • Jamboree Schedule Released:  Monday, June 2 (for 1st weekend); Mon, June 9 (for 2nd weekend)
